The Prosecutor’s Office and the FSB took on rehabilitation centers

Prosecutor’s checks of two Protestant rehabilitation centers “New Life” in the villages of Kotly and Preobrazhenka near St. Petersburg began on November 9 at 6:30 a.m., in the Kingisepp district of the Leningrad region, reports the Sova Center [1].
FSB officers and representatives of the Federal Drug Control Service are taking part in the check. The check was prompted by a complaint received by the FSB.
About 300 people, including staff of the rehabilitation centers and their children, are on the premises of the centers. They are forbidden to take photos or videos. Children and parents are kept in separate rooms.
On the evening of November 9, it became known that the prosecutor’s office had found a number of violations in the centers’ activities.
