The fruit of apostasy from God in America
Pavel Ozerkov, a Baptist pastor and Christian poet, speaking at a conference in Sacramento on May 5, 2012, about the perishing generation: “The problem is taking on threatening proportions.”
Pavel came to America 21 years ago. He was glad to have read Boris Perchatkin’s book Fiery Trails. He had a personal meeting with US President George Bush, from whom he received a personalized gift. He learned English and could have long ago assimilated and integrated into American churches, but he fell in love with our people here in America and there in the countries of the former Soviet Union, and especially on the Kamchatka Peninsula.
Go to the pastors of your churches and say: the conference was relevant! I have been a participant in many conferences, congresses, and meetings, and nowhere has this issue been raised so directly. What awaits us tomorrow, given what we see we have today? We will all die, because the wages of sin is death. But Jesus Christ came to restore to us the lost direct relationship with our Savior God.
I loved America and read American writers: Jack London, Mayne Reid, Fenimore Cooper, Ernest Thomson, Mark Twain, and many others. I read the Jewish historian Josephus, how the devil sacrificed the Jewish people when they rebelled against the Romans, and how the Christians who believed in Jesus Christ left from there.
In the past 20th century, closing human history before the coming of the Savior, the devil sacrificed 150 million people, including 60 million in Russia, 22 million in Germany, 60 million in China, 2 million in Cambodia, 1.5 million in Turkey, 300 thousand in Guatemala, 300 thousand in Uganda, 800 thousand in Rwanda, and in Iran, Afghanistan, Iraq. Every day on earth is war! And every war has a spiritual basis — it is a religious war. In the First and Second World Wars alone, 5 million Jews were annihilated.
It will not get better — it will only get worse in this world.
Let us turn to Russia. In 1868 in the Russian Empire, in Georgia, in the Kura River, the first baptism according to the faith of Nikita Isaevich Voronin took place. The Gospel came to the Russian land. The living message of Christ — God had mercy on the Slavic peoples. Our guide in Bulgaria said, look, all the monuments in Bulgaria face toward Russia, from which deliverance came to the Bulgarian people more than once. So also from God’s side, deliverance comes to us, the Slavic peoples.
Bibles in accessible Russian began to be brought into Russia. Reading old magazines, in the early 20th century, in the city of Khabarovsk in 1901–1904, there was a church with 1,000 members! The Gospel filled Russia to the brim.
The devil hates all peoples on earth, and especially the Slavic people. He tries to destroy Christians, and when that fails, then as Brother Boris said, he tries to destroy the church from within. By 1917, the Orthodox Church was not fulfilling its purpose—to carry the Gospel—burdened with traditions and rites. The godless communists organized art exhibitions where they depicted drunken, fat priests alongside beggars. The priests were adding fuel to the fire — that is why the revolution happened. That is why the forces of the devil broke Russia — because she was disarmed — she lost the shield of faith against the devil’s arrows. Russia was ravaged by Satanists.
At first, Protestants received the revolution with enthusiasm as an opportunity to preach the Gospel more. Because in tsarist Russia, evangelical believers were persecuted, tried, and killed. From 1880 to 1905, the Chief Procurator of the Holy Synod Konstantin Pobedonostsev “was largely responsible for the government policy of suppressing religious and ethnic minorities, as well as the Western-oriented liberal intelligentsia” (Britannica); he “pursued a policy of the cruelest persecution of Old Believers and sectarians and oppression of all non-Orthodox believers” (first edition of the Great Soviet Encyclopedia, volume 45, 1940). You can read the book Stundist Pavel Rudenko.
Indeed, after the revolution, the genuine preaching of the Gospel began, and our brethren became a true cultural alternative to the Russian Orthodox Church and in many ways surpassed it, because its state power was removed. In 1929, warnings began: there were rehearsals, and in 1933 there was a dress rehearsal for the future repressions of 1937. Persecutions descended upon Christians like a hurricane.
My grandmother got caught up in these repressions — the first Christian woman in the village of Pechatkino, Vologda Oblast — a strong, robust Christian who, according to my mother’s testimony, worked miracles in the villages. She walked through forests and farmsteads preaching the Gospel, and held meetings in her little hut. I wrote a little book about her, Vasilisa the Wise, as the village women called her. In 1937 she was taken away, tried, and exiled for 10 years to a camp in the Urals. In 1943, the tyrant Stalin signed an obligation in the treaty with the Allies on the opening of the second front to release those illegally repressed in the USSR. Then my grandmother fell under the amnesty, returned home, and lived only a short while, because her health had been undermined in imprisonment.
The war against the church did not end there. In 1961, as Brother Perchatkin said, the godless authorities acted from within the church and punished it with division. In 1987, freedom came to Russia such as had never been before. No one understood what lay behind it. What lay behind it was the plundering of the country, the thorough destruction of Christians, and the introduction of false religions. Many strong, sound Christians are being lumped together under the lie of decay. The Patriarch of the Russian Orthodox Church spoke, lumping together Mormons, Ledyaev, Baptists, and everyone else, and declared: these are enemies of our society. And people believe the television.
There is no paradise on earth, and never will be. The persecution or destruction of Christians did not end with the fall of communism, but acquired new strength, form, and factions. Satan did not go underground — he continues to act. The Russian people and Russian Christianity are his primary target. He knew perfectly well, and knows and will know, that our Christianity is one of the strongest in the world. That is why many Americans wanted us to show them the light.
The war for world domination, or in other words for the reign of the Antichrist, is not over. The war for resources and for the ruling ideology on earth is not over. In the devil’s way of implementing his black plans stood our brotherhood — firm, strong, born in persecution.
Here is Satan’s plan for Russia: «Sowing chaos in Russia, we will imperceptibly substitute their values with false ones… We will find our like-minded people, our helpers and allies in Russia itself. Episode by episode, the grandiose tragedy of the destruction of the most rebellious people on earth, the final extinction of its self-awareness, will be played out. From literature and art we… will gradually eradicate their social essence, wean artists, discourage them from depicting, investigating… the processes that occur in the depths of the masses. Literature, theater, cinema — everything will depict and glorify the basest human feelings. We will support and elevate in every possible way the so-called artists who will implant and hammer into consciousness the cult of sex, violence, sadism, betrayal — in short, all kinds of immorality.» (ed. The Dulles Plan is possibly fabricated)
Russia’s Alcohol Terror. By 2020, according to Western economists’ estimates, the natural resources of Western countries will be completely depleted, and only the territory of Russia will remain untouched. The Russian elite have been bought for billions of dollars to carry out their work. In Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, many churches were abandoned by pastors who left for America. In America, churches have not ten but 20–50 pastors in one church.
Over two decades, we did not bring light to America, but we lost the most valuable thing — people. Half of the Christians remained there, half came here, and what is most frightening is that many of them do not know why.
Praise the Lord that many of us have got our bearings, risen up here in America, and understood our purpose to become a help to perishing nations.
Persecutions of Christians and Jews, both forced and unforced, have always accompanied the history of our land. Christ foresaw this, so He said to His disciple Simon Peter: “Simon! Simon! behold, Satan has demanded to sift you like wheat, but I have prayed for you, that your faith may not fail; and you, when you have turned again, strengthen your brothers.” (Luke 22:31–32) And so we have landed on this land, and what should we do?
What happens in America every day: 3,197 divorces, 2,470 children run away from home, 2,000 children try to engage in prostitution, 126 rapes, 24 people die of AIDS, 49 murders, 81 suicides, 100 teenage girls become mothers, 106 teenage girls do not want to become mothers and have abortions, 4,219 teenagers contract venereal diseases, 500 teenagers start using drugs, a thousand teenagers start drinking alcohol, 135,000 bring a gun or other weapon to school, 6 teenagers commit suicide. 735,000 homeless, 100,000 of them children under 18. “And the woman said: Why then have you thought such a thing against the people of God? The king, in speaking this word, has convicted himself, because he does not bring back his banished one. We will die and be like water spilled on the ground, which cannot be gathered up again. But God does not desire to destroy a life, and He devises plans so that the banished one will not be cast out from Him.” (2 Samuel 14:13–14)
The president of the Minnesota Baptist Association said: “In a few years, you will be Russian parents with American children.” We did not understand. People lost a common language with each other; generations were divided culturally, by age, and by language. Shame for the parents of Americanized children.
The post-war wave of emigration to America of people from German captivity who did not want to return to the godless USSR. Among them were Nikolai Vodnevsky (he described his story), Berezov. Some foolishly returned and went from the prisoner-of-war camp to a Soviet camp for traitors to the homeland. That emigration gave birth to churches on the Pacific coast and even unions. In 1989 there was a congress of the Pacific coast in California, and there were representatives from three churches of the once huge union: the church of Gazhiev (Gashiev), Kapitsa, and Nikolai Vodnevsky. One had 6 people, another 27, and the third 35! That is all that remained by the beginning of our emigration from our predecessors. They integrated and assimilated. The children of many of them did not want to attend Russian churches. They had reasons for this: they were cut off from their homeland by the Iron Curtain and the hostility towards Russians among ordinary Americans as enemies. Because of Russian origin, students were even beaten at school. Therefore they disappeared very quickly. To preserve our people in America.
The second problem we encountered in America is the painful restoration of the church, as it is written: “By the rivers of Babylon, there we sat down and wept, when we remembered Zion. On the willows in the midst of it we hung our harps. For there our captors demanded of us songs, and our tormentors mirth, saying, ‘Sing us one of the songs of Zion.’ How shall we sing the Lord’s song in a foreign land?” (Psalm 137:1–4) Brother Boris Perchatkin spoke about how we did not notice that people unknown to anyone had seized power in the churches. And by the time we realized where they had led the people, it was already too late. Then began depositions, overthrows, church revolutions, scandals. In some cities, a small church was divided into five parts! A whole generation grew up on this. Our children did not have the church authority that we had. When we entered the church, we were in awe. The authority of ministers was brought down. Children did not regard them as heroes to emulate.
An antagonistic attitude arose in the younger generation towards Slavic churches, towards their parents.
In one church in America, the youth shared with me a poem of congratulation for the veterans of the religious war:
In the city gathered not a few brothers,
And each of them fought for a portfolio.
On the church they tore the sacred garment,
And grounded God’s ark on a shoal.
Often they gathered councils,
But instead of councils there was brawling,
And God’s lampstand did not rejoice with light,
But pitifully smoked in the clear day.
Jews laughed, and children suffered,
They could not bridle the hungry wolves.
Soldiers are given medals for battles,
And it’s time for us to reward our veterans.
They are planning to invite and give orders to those who participated in the division of churches and religious wars. Not flowers of gratitude for rightly instructing their children. This is our shame and our disgrace.
The third problem in America is social cares. We left with you one slavery — socialism, and arrived into another — capitalism. “But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly. For it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.” (Luke 21:34-36) Many have gotten into debt to the satanic banking system, and from the morning they themselves run to earn money to save their houses, which are on the brink of foreclosure. Parents are chasing after money, while children grow up on their own. One brother declared that instead of saving themselves and their children, they were busy saving their 5000 “wretched” square feet (ed. note: a play on the English word “square”). They invested 300 thousand each. If I had known I would lose it, I would have rather sent it for missions in Russia. Too late, dear. In one city our people built seven houses. The crisis struck — they lost all the houses. And they ended their lives in suicide. They have piles of their own debts. But on top of that, every American also has 90 thousand dollars of federal debt to the Federal Reserve Bank! Pay and keep paying! In a church, a young couple gets married: the bride has 40 thousand dollars of debt and the groom has 20 thousand! How will they ever live?! In Sacramento there is a wonderful preacher, David Jeremiah; he has a series of sermons “The Coming Economic Armageddon”, where he warned not to get into this terrible bondage-slavery.
We are talking about women and children. “Say to the righteous that it shall be well with them, for they shall eat the fruit of their doings. Woe to the wicked! It shall be ill with him, for the reward of his hands shall be given him. As for My people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O My people! Those who lead you cause you to err, and destroy the way of your paths.” (Isaiah 3:10-12)
According to the Southern Baptist Convention, one out of every three marriages among Christians in America falls apart. Russian statistics say that 10% of those married in America have divorced.
Before our eyes a drama of same-sex marriages is unfolding, which is trying to hammer into people’s consciousness that this, too, is marriage, and in a little while they will say that this is actually the most correct marriage. Along with this, human cloning is being pursued, without mom and dad, outside the family, to create a race of slaves and security guards.
Several years ago, the American newspaper The Oregonian wrote in an article Slavic parents lose control of their Americanizing kids: “it would have been better for them to stay in Ukraine”: “Mariya calls the school to check on her children almost every day or comes there herself in tears. Her three teenage children smoke and drink, even in front of their parents. They party until morning and often do not even return home for several days. Her oldest dropped out of high school last year; another son did the same a few months ago. Her daughter, not yet 11 years old, ran away from home.
Mariya is a religious refugee and does not know whom to turn to with her grief. Her story is quite common among the 100,000-strong population of evangelical Christians from the former Soviet Union living in the Portland area.”
According to statistics, the American father devotes 15 minutes daily to his children. Our fathers sometimes do not even do that. I witnessed how a father, a truck driver, came home and his daughter ran out and asked how long he had come for. He answered, till tomorrow morning. To which the daughter replied: “Then why did you come at all?”
One daughter had a birthday, but her father had to go to work to install siding on houses. The little daughter asks him to stay.
— No, daughter, I’ll go to work.
— Why, Papa?
— I’ll earn money.
— Papa, how many dollars will you earn today? — the daughter asks.
— Two hundred, my dear.
The daughter goes to her children’s piggy bank, takes out two hundred dollars, gives them to her father and says:
— Here, Papa, two hundred dollars, just stay with me today.
At the “Ozerko” recreation base, I asked ten girls, “Which of you has a good relationship with your father, could tell him everything, pray together with him, and ask his advice on any matter?” Only one raised her hand.
One of the main problems is when children are taken away from the congregational service to Sunday school, considering children to be foolish. And at Sunday school, a 17-year-old girl deals with children on spiritual matters.
On Sundays they are taken to youth meetings and Sunday schools, and on weekdays they are taken to school, and parents who ought to be raising their children do not see them.
According to statistics from the Southern Baptist Convention, 75% of girls lose their virtue at Christian camp. One guy recently repented that at a Christian camp he taught two girls to use drugs — one held back, and the other he no longer sees.
In 1826, the good institution of Sunday school was first established in London for orphans without father and mother. Sunday school was not created for children with living fathers and mothers. The devil spread the Sunday school to take children away from Christian, biblical education by their parents under a plausible pretext.
In 1962, a tragedy occurred in America — a cry was raised in the church to attract people to the church by any means. As a result, the church filled with unregenerate, worldly people. These Christianized people began to choose pastors who would flatter their ears. Many churches turned into theaters, comedy shows.
Baptist preacher MacArthur said: “In our time, however, worship services in many churches are more like a merry-go-round with an abundance of music and laughter: there are many pleasant sensations and it seems you’re moving forward, but the ride ends right where it began.
One pastor, when asked why he allowed such a spectacle in his church, said: ‘It attracts people.’”
One girl said that her dad promised that if she got baptized, he would buy her a car.
He brought his daughter to high school, and there the girls are bringing their little children. They have a daycare there for them.
We live in Minnesota, not far from the Canadian province of Manitoba, where thousands of refugees from Germany, former Soviet German Christians, have now gathered. In Germany, terrible arbitrariness is happening in schools. Those who live near Austria take their children there! Others have dropped everything and gone to Canada, Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay.
In California, they conducted a survey of young people: if your internet, laptops, cellphones, iPods, iPhones, iPads, GPS were taken away, what would you do? 60% said life would be impossible without them and they would commit suicide. A pastor steps up to the pulpit and addresses the congregation: “Turn on your Bibles.” Young people stop communicating verbally; they sit next to each other and send text messages. That’s more interesting. They play computer games together over the internet with other players from another country. They play day and night. Some die in the game from exhaustion and stress. Games introduce a person to a world of violence, sin, sorcery, and demons.
In 1992, over 1 million crimes involving firearms were committed in the US. By the age of 15, an American child sees 35,000 murders and 200,000 acts of violence and cruelty on television. In the US, a crime is committed every 25 seconds, a burglary every 9 seconds, a rape every 6 minutes, a murder every 25 minutes.
The Odnoklassniki website is called “Odnobludniki” (a play on words meaning “classmates of fornication”). The site has increased the number of adulteries by 25% through fornication with old classmates.
They say today public health treatment is needed, because the number of cancer cases will soon double due to cellphones and other communications.
Excerpt from Dobson’s book Bringing Up Boys: addiction to pornography from age 13–15 warps the mind and can keep a person in bondage for the rest of his days. Many men prone to homosexuality, bestiality, violence against children and women trace the beginnings of their perversions to early adolescence.
Over 40% of American pastors are addicted to viewing pornography.
Pornography is a leading cause of divorce. Men expect from women the perversions that pornography instills in them.
90% of Americans have sex before marriage. Half of brides lost their virginity to someone else.
Pastors say: A young choir girl received a text message from her boyfriend, went out to the parking lot, where they did their deed, and managed to return in time for the next song. In one church, a girl left her purse. They opened it to identify her. Inside were a Bible, a hymnal, and several sets of contraceptives. In one church, two girls were caught having sex in the parking lot. In one church, they cut down the bushes around the church building because after the evening youth fellowship, fornication was taking place there.
Drugs.
The most productive platform for drug distribution has become the Slavic church. In one church, the youth pastor wanted to buy a car but didn’t have enough money, so he started selling drugs to the youth. Within six months, 80% of the youth became drug addicts.
Today there are 259 million drug addicts on earth. The top spots belong to the US, Russia, Ukraine, and Mexico. In Moscow, every 8th person is a drug addict. In Vietnam, 70,000 people died; in Afghanistan, 15,000. Each year, 18 million die from drug overdose (40,000 every day). On average, each drug addict hooks 5 to 12 more people on drugs annually. In 20 years, every other person on earth could become a drug addict. A brother said that in one rehabilitation center, they saved 25 people over 5 years. Victims of drugs include Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, writer Bulgakov, singer Vladimir Vysotsky, and Oksana Baiul.
