Brother Viktor Fedorov was the owner of a powerful titanium plant, LLC “Fiko,” and a number of enterprises involved in wholesale and retail metal products sales.

On the evening of March 25, Viktor drove home from work as usual in his Lexus E-5350, heading to the village of Kryukovshchina. But he never made it home. Toward nightfall, Fedorov’s sister found his empty car by the gate, with the doors open and the engine still warm. When Viktor’s sister tried calling his mobile phone, she discovered the phone ringing inside the empty car.

A criminal case was opened immediately on the disappearance of Viktor Fedorov. And in recent days the police have managed to find the remains of Viktor Fedorov. They lay at a depth of four meters in a reservoir in the Kyiv region. According to our information, a bag had been placed over his head, and his body was inside a sleeping bag that contained a 32-kilogram weight. Moreover, according to “Komsomolskaya Pravda in Ukraine,” the direct kidnappers and killers of the businessman have already been arrested.

— We also know the surname of the organizer of this crime, — says a police officer who wished to remain anonymous. — He is a lawyer at one of the state enterprises. He has already asked a very well-known Kyiv attorney to defend him.

According to preliminary information, the murder was commissioned by capital-based businessmen who wanted to seize Viktor Fedorov’s enterprises. Allegedly, they first tried to achieve their aim through pressure. But when that didn’t work, they decided to eliminate him. So far, however, this remains an assumption. The head of the Department for Combating Organized Crime of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Kyiv region, Viktor Kornich, has promised to disclose all the details in a few days.

Two days after the disappearance, on the morning of March 27, an attempt was made on the life of the chief accountant of LLC “FIKO,” which Fedorov V.N. owned, as she was on her way to work near her home. She was taken to hospital in serious condition with severe bodily injuries. The case is being investigated by the Kyiv-Svyatoshynskyi District Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Kyiv region.

According to INTERFAX-UKRAINE reports – On Sunday, April 5, an attempted forceful takeover of LLC “Fiko” (Kyiv), which processes titanium, took place, states the Anti-Raider Union of Entrepreneurs of Ukraine.

As the union’s director, Andrey Semididko, told journalists at a press conference at the Interfax-Ukraine agency on Monday, on the day of the takeover attempt, he received a call from a certain person claiming to represent the new owners, who was not being allowed into the enterprise.

“He officially turned to the Anti-Raider Union so that we could be present when the situation was resolved,” added A. Semididko.

Having arrived at the enterprise, union experts learned that an attempted armed takeover involving firearms had taken place.

At the scene, according to the director, the “incoming side” was represented by two lawyers from the law firm “Garantia” (Kyiv), and the caller turned out to be a Russian citizen who was representing the interests of the new owners by power of attorney. He also reminded that the enterprise’s previous owner, Viktor Fedorov, who held about 99% of the charter capital of LLC “Fiko,” had disappeared 10–12 days before.

One of the lawyers told the Anti-Raider Union that a new director of “Fiko” had appeared on March 4, and the previous owner was not present during the re-registration of the founding documents.

At present, the Anti-Raider Union of Entrepreneurs of Ukraine is conducting its own investigation, but is not yet voicing any emerging versions. A. Semididko stressed, however, that such an investigation suggests a redistribution of property is taking place on Ukraine’s titanium-processing market.

A. Semididko also did not rule out the possibility of unlawful actions against the Anti-Raider Union of Entrepreneurs. “The situation around the Fiko enterprise allows us to assert: as the party examining the situation, we may face pressure and discrediting actions from the forces that are sorting out their relations,” A. Semididko said.

LLC “Fiko” has been operating on the titanium products market for more than 15 years. Its main output consists of titanium ingots smelted using the electron-beam method. The company supplies products to Germany, France, Italy, Finland, Switzerland, Japan, China, South Korea, Turkey and India.

For many years, Fedorov V.N. was an active Christian, preacher and philanthropist. He supported the construction of houses of prayer and provided charitable support to widows and orphans in many regions of Ukraine, taking part in charitable projects.

Viktor Fedorov was a member of the Council of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs under the President of Ukraine.
