US Missionary Holds Putin Up as an Example to Obama
Russian President Vladimir Putin does what is right for Russia, in particular has banned homosexual propaganda among minors, stated American Christian missionary Billy Franklin Graham.
Graham observed that it was “quite smart” of Putin to protect children in his country, and lamented that the US no longer has a president who, as before, could do “what is right for the country,” reports ABC (translation provided by the Center for Current Politics).

Franklin Graham is an American religious and public figure, a minister in the Baptist church. A member of the largest Baptist association in the world — the Southern Baptist Convention. For many years, he has been a spiritual adviser to US presidents.
Since the end of July last year, Russia has had a law banning gay propaganda among children. According to the document, promoting non‑traditional sexual relationships among minors is punishable by fines, and propaganda using the media can lead to a suspension of their activities for up to 90 days.
The law has drawn mixed reactions abroad. Alongside sharp criticism from some public figures, its adoption has been supported by certain human rights activists and major religious leaders in the United States.
