Emigration to the USA

Greetings!
Often people reach out to me seeking help in obtaining refugee status in the USA based on religious persecution.
I will try to answer. At present, Christians who were persecuted in the USSR and who have close relatives who have already moved to the USA under this status can enter as refugees.
Proving the fact of persecution to obtain refugee status in modern Russia is not easy, even more so in modern Ukraine.
Despite this, the exodus will continue. We had revelations about this back when it was dangerous to even think about and attempt to leave the USSR.
When we fought against the Soviet godless authority, we did not aim to go abroad as an end in itself. Emigration was only a means of putting pressure on the godless authorities to obtain freedom of religion and an end to state persecution for faith in Jesus Christ.
We did not know where we would be able to go. We appealed to the Soviet government demanding to change the laws under which faith in God was a crime, or to let us leave for any non-communist country.
Such a country could be Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Paraguay or the USA. We did not know who would agree to accept the persecuted Christians of the USSR.
As I noted earlier, the exodus of Christians has continued and will continue. Perhaps it is necessary to look for other options to leave for other countries. For residents of Ukraine, the doors are open to Canada. There is labor emigration to Australia.
