Dear friends,

Usually at this time, as well as at other hours, our broadcast features editions of “Latest News” in the “Country and the World” segment, the weather forecast, and information on the condition of our roads.

It is with deep regret that I must inform you that starting today, all of this information will be temporarily unavailable to our listeners, at least when it comes from me, with the exception of emergency information.

I am forced to declare a kind of indefinite strike, because for three months now I have been receiving a salary that is three times lower than the subsistence minimum. Three months ago, the management of this radio station stopped paying me the salary we had agreed upon when I launched this radio station in August 2010.

I am also discontinuing all my original programs on “Russian Radio 7.”

Nevertheless, I intend to continue working at “Russian Radio 7” and performing the routine daily work, which includes ensuring the broadcast of all paid and free programs, commercials, and materials, conducting paid commercial broadcasts, as well as PR campaigns and the search for new partners.

The news service of “Russian Radio 7” will continue its work in monitoring mode.

Once again, I ask you to forgive me personally for these forced measures. Unfortunately, my negotiations with the management of “Russian Radio 7” have reached an impasse, and at this point, I see no way out of the current situation.
