Proper nutrition of the body
Most people imagine the digestive system as a tube with gastric juice, and the digestion process as the dissolution of food by this juice. This view is very far from the truth. The dissolution of food by the body’s own efforts is only one type of digestion, and not the main one. It is called autolytic digestion. Academician A.M. Ugolev proved that besides autolytic digestion, there is also self-dissolution and dissolution by microflora. Through his experiments, he also showed that the intestine is an endocrine gland that shapes the body’s hormonal background depending on the food we consume.
These discoveries in the field of digestion provided a scientific basis for a long-known nutritional system – raw mono-eating or monotrophic nutrition. According to this system, one should consume only live raw plant-based products: vegetables, fruits, nuts, cereal grains, root vegetables. Any heat treatment of live food above 40 degrees is unacceptable, as it makes it dead. Moreover, in one meal, only one product should be consumed, and the interval between meals should be about one hour on average.
