No. 7-112с August 17, 1957
Secret
In May of this year, in Dnipropetrovsk, a trial took place of the leaders of the illegal center of the KhVE (Pentecostals) headed by A.I. Bidash. The court established that this center had undertaken extensive work in forming illegal groups by organizing gatherings of Pentecostal believers in various districts.
Under the guise of religious teaching, the said Pentecostal center conducted anti-Soviet activities aimed at separating believers from public life and from service in the Soviet Army. It called upon its followers not to attend movies, theaters, not to listen to the radio, not to watch television broadcasts, and to actively work to involve new persons in the sect, including school-age children, who were instilled to leave the Pioneers and not to wear Pioneer ties. Recruited schoolchildren were given assignments to entice other schoolchildren into the sect.
By the resolution of the Dnipropetrovsk regional court, the members of the said Pentecostal center were sentenced to various terms of imprisonment.
